The most notable would be the creation of 500-pound molasses-based blocks. After completing the technical development was given the task to create and implement a marketing and launch strategy.

    :: Lead a very creative and hard-working team in developing a worldwide business in serving Zoological collections with unique diets. The diets are marketed under the brand, Mazuri. Many of these were developed for endangered species and for animals that were difficult to maintain in captivity due to diet concerns. The line is still growing as it has moved in providing that level of nutrition to family pets.

    :: Helped the largest farm and fleet retail chain enhance their homestead feed line. Today they would be considered the largest or one of the largest providers of these products to consumers. Following that involvement, further products were developed for this chain in animal health, horse treats and small animal diets.

    :: Was given the task of finding additional revenue streams for feed manufacturers, a line of natural fertilizers was developed and marketed. This resulted in working with several sustainable solutions for soil fertility and manufacturing of those products for a number of companies.

    :: Was tasked by a global animal health company with creating and implementing a B2B and B2C strategy to target vet practices and pet owners with an action-based, educational message highlighting the prevalence of pet dry mouth and its red flags.

    :: A global player in the feed & food additives market with a strong science-based product portfolio needed to target a very specific audience to present and illustrate the performance potential of their products. They turned to us to make it happen.

    :: A leading animal health and nutrition company had been delivering leading-edge, patented nutrition to livestock producers since 1997. They had a product that was perfect for equine but they needed a marketing partner who understood horses and the horse industry. More importantly they needed someone who could take their company from a commodity mindset to a consumer mindset. OUR TEAM

  • Bill has over 45 years experience in research, business development, plant operations, product development and introduction, marketing and international sales and development. Bill earned a PhD in Biochemistry with an undergrad degree in Chemistry. The unique combination of business, marketing and technical expertise have allowed Bill to be a proven problem solver for a range of companies, from start-ups to fortune 500, in the agriculture, agribusiness, animal health and nutrition, retail and wine industries. Some notable successes include launching and maintaining the largest zoological feed program in the U.S., leading a team of PhDs and salespeople throughout the management of this well-respected line of products ranging from Aardvarks to Zebras. Bill also launched a successful line of organic fertilizer products for a major company. His ability to balance client's needs with tight budget requirements yields high performance for maximum results. A highly conceptual, problem solver and creative strategic thinker, Bill naturally has the tools and proven track record that will help your business thrive and grow in an ever-changing economic climate.

With nearly 40 years of experience on both the client and agency sides of the table, Jonathan has a keen understanding of the importance of listening, both to the client and the end-user. An entrepreneur by nature he has excelled at start-ups and invigorating existing businesses with new life. He has led the marketing efforts for B2B and B2C clients in a variety of industries but has specialized in animal health and nutrition, agribusiness, lifesciences/biotech and companion animal retail. Those results-based efforts have included business strategy planning, marketing and sales consultation, corporate and product branding, product conception, development and launch, digital marketing campaigns and event marketing and management in addition to traditional media advertising and public relations. He's worked with clients of all sizes–from Fortune 500 to startup companies with products still in stage development. He's also worked with clients from all over the globe, helping them to position and articulate their brand to US and international companies and consumers.
